SOCIAL MEDIA FOR ARTISTS: BUILDING CAREER SUCCESS

The Tennessee Arts Commission is pleased to announce that it will offer three statewide workshops to professional individual Tennessee artists who are interested in utilizing social media networks to advance their career by learning online creativity and marketing strategies. Topics of discussion include: networking, benefit-driven content, building relationships vs. making sales, understanding online goals and audiences, measuring and evaluating success, and balancing personal and professional profiles. Each workshop will be lead by Jacob Weiss a Nashville producer, artist and social media consultant who is also the Founder/Director of High-Wired Communities and Playing By Air Productions. These free workshops are offered to professional individual Tennessee artists with some working knowledge of social media networks and will NOT cover any technical aspects of beginning these processes but instead focus on content-driven strategies. Attendees may bring laptops to workshops however they are not considered necessary.
